TO GO WITH AFP STORY
People enjoy a picnic despite the rain on August 2, 2011 in the French western town of Bauge on the Loire valley, during the ninth edition of a lyrical art music festival Opera de Bauge, held in the gardens of a private house Les Capucins, by a British couple John and Bernadette Grimmett, on the model of England's Glyndebourne Festival Opera. The 2011 season runs from 24 July to August 5 and featured performances of Puccini's La bohème, Beethoven's Fidelio and Adolphe Adam's Le postillon de Lonjumeau. AFP PHOTO/ALAIN JOCARD
