Monohulls take the start of the Solitaire du Figaro solo sailing race 2nd stage on August 7, 2011 off Caen. 47 competitors take part in the 42nd edition of the race and will sail from Perros-Guirrec to Caen, northwestern France, through Dun Laoghaire (Ireland).
