AFGHANISTAN-UNREST
US troops of Charlie Company, 2-87 Infantry, 3rd Brigade Combat Team gather their mail packages at their Combat Outpost in Kandalay village in southern Afghanistan,a former stronghold of Taliban insurgents on August 7, 2011. Combined forces of US and Afghan troops have established foothold over the population center with highly productive agricultural area against Taliban insurgents who continued to launch attacks.
