ARLINGTON, VA - AUGUST 09: Members of the U.S. Army's 3rd Infantry Regiment 'The Old Guard' escort the caisson that carries the flag-draped casket of the late Army Spc. Jordan C. Schumann of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, to his final resting place during his funeral August 9, 2011 at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia. Spc. Schumann, who was assigned to the 709th Military Police Battalion, 18th Military Police Brigade, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, died July 5 in Paktia province, Afghanistan, of injuries suffered when enemy forces attacked their unit with an improvised explosive device while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
