FILES - Combo of file pictures shows Markus Wolf (R, 2002), the shadowy spy-master of communist East Germany, and his widow Andrea Wolf (L, 2006). The widow of Markus Wolf lost a court battle on August 15, 2011 to reclaim his "honorary" pension. A state court in Berlin ruled that she was not entitled to payments for former "fighters against fascism" in the Nazi period because of Wolf's later involvement in spying on youths in communist East Germany.
