BRITAIN-POLICE-UNREST

Thousands of mourners rallied in Britain's second city Birmingham for the Muslim funeral prayers of the three "martyrs" who were run down by a car while defending their community from looters. Haroon Jahan, 21, and brothers Shazad Ali 30, and Abdul Musavir 31, were hit and killed by a car as they stood guard outside shops at the height of the riots.
