CROATIA-WEATHER-HEAT
Croatian meteorologist Ante Vukusic inspects a heliograph instrument, which measures the number of sunny hours per day, at Zavizan's meteorological station on Velebit mountain on August 22, 2011. Croatia is lately hit by unusually high temperatures more than 10 degrees Celsius above normal, meteorological sources reported. Vukusic works everyday at Zavizan station, which is the highest Mountain meteorological station in Croatia with an altitude of 1596 m. AFP PHOTO/HRVOJE POLAN
