A Chilean air force plane carrying 21 people disappeared over the Pacific Ocean on September 2, 2011 on its way to the remote Juan Fernandez archipelago, officials said in a statement. According to the official report, Camiroaga was one of the passengers. "As it was getting closer to the island, radio communication with the airplane was lost," said the air force.
