FRANCE-CORRUPTION-TRIAL-POLITICS
The brother of the president of French constitutional council and a close aid of Chirac, Francois Debre arrives at Paris' court on September 5, 2011 for the opening of Chirac trial for embezzlement and breach of trust during the years he served as mayor of Paris. Chirac might again avoid trial after his lawyers said in a statement two days ago they had submitted a medical report to the presiding judge that said he was medically unfit to attend.
