This handout picture released by the French Gendarmerie Nationale taken on September 10, 2011 shows a rock fall at 3750m estimated at 10,000m3 of debris causing a huge dust cloud over the Chamonix valley. According to mountain rescue services, there were three separate rock falls on the famous west face of the Drus high above the Mer de Glace.
