CORRECTION-PARAGUAY-FARM-ANIMAL-FOOT AND MOUTH-DISEASE
Technicians of Paraguay's National Service of Animal Quality and Health (SENACSA) check the arrival of Paraguayan soldiers --who would be in charge of the sanitary rifle-- at Santa Helena farm where the foot-and-mouth disease outbreak was detected, in San Pedro, some 400 km northeast of the capital, on September 20, 2011. Paraguay ordered the immediate halt to beef exports in a move that could devastate the country's cattle industry. Paraguayan authorities on Tuesday ordered the destruction of about 800 head of cattle to stem the outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease. AFP PHOTO
