In a picture taken on August 31, 2011 the Maitland Men's Shed is open for business in the Hunter Valley. There are now 600 registered Men's Sheds, community spaces where men can do handywork, across Australia and their patron is Tim Mathieson, partner of Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard and the nation's "First Bloke."
