INDONESIA-ATTACKS-BOMBING-THREAT
In this photograph taken on September 11, 2011, Muslim residents (in the foreground) face off with a group of Christian residents during a bloody clash in Ambon, the provincial capital of Indonesia's Maluku island. The riot exposed the deep fault-lines that exist between Christians and Muslims in Maluku a decade after bloody conflicts wracked the region, the International Crisis Group (ICG) said in a report on October 4, 2011. The prominent think-tank group also said that the Ambon clash, which killed seven and displaced 4,000, had likely inspired the suicide bombing of a church on Java island two weeks later as retaliation.
