GERMANY-CABBAGE-SAUERKRAUT-PRODUCTION
An employee of the Hengstenberg sauerkraut plant in Fritzlar, central Germany, checks the filling of white cabbage into tins on October 11, 2011. According to the company, it's the world biggest sauerkraut plant, producing about 33,000 tons of white and 6,000 tons of red cabbage per season. The vegetables are cultivated in the region.
