Greek Prime minister George Papandreou leaves a press conference after a meeting with the President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy on October 13, 2011 at the EU headquarters in Brussels. The European Union today urged Greece to lower its minimum wage, which is much higher than in EU countries with a similar standard of living, in order to lower its ballooning unemployment.
