EL SALVADOR-RAINS-DAMAGES
View of Ateos bridge after it was destroyed by rains in La Libertad, 43 km west of San Salvador, El Salvador on October 17, 2011. According to authorities, 32 people were killed and 20.000 had to be evacuated due to torrential rains in the last week in El Salvador. The country will have to spen million dollars in repairing or rebuilding bridges and roads damaged by rains. Over 80 people were killed and 150.000 are affected by rains in Central America.
