Support for the dominant far-right SVP dipped in Switzerland's elections on Sunday, as the more moderate SVP breakaway party BDP and the Green Liberals enjoyed a surge, national television estimated. The Swiss People's Party (SVP) had aimed to better its 2007 score of 28.8 percent, but its split with the Conservative Democratic Party (BDP) since the previous elections is now expected to have left it with seven fewer seats.
