INDIA-GOLD-JEWELLERY
US jeweller Victoria Waller reacts as she displays a gold coin purchased from an automatic teller machine (ATM) at a shopping mall in Mumbai on October 31, 2011. Gitanjali Group, an Indian company which runs a chain of jewellery shops across the country, has launched what it says is the world's first "cash machine" that dispenses gold, silver coins, and diamond-studded jewellery. The company launched the Gold and Diamond ATM at a central Mumbai shopping mall for the annual Hindu festival of lights, Diwali, last week. Economic indicators show that India's breakneck pace of growth is slowing as borrowing costs rise, with the country's industrial output rising just 3.3 percent year-on-year in July -- the slowest in nearly two years.
