MOROCCO-TURKEY-SYRIA-ARAB-LEAGUE
From left: Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Moroccan Foreign Minister Taieb Fassi Fihri, Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem al-Thani (R) and Arab League Secretary-General Arab League Nabil al-Arabi meet in Rabat on November 16, 2011 during a Turco-Arab Cooperation Forum. Arab nations are meeting later in the day in Morocco to tighten the noose around increasingly isolated Syria after Turkey warned its onetime ally against feeding "on the blood of the innocent". Arab League foreign ministers of the 22-member bloc were due to meet later in the Moroccan capital to further discuss measures they announced against Syria at last week's Cairo meeting, including sanctions and withdrawing ambassadors.
