NETHERLANDS-JEWS-ISLAM-YOUTH-HISTORY
TO GO WITH STORY BY JAN HENNOP
Daniel (L), 21, and Max (R), 13, work as volunteers on the restoration of the old Jewish cemetery of 'Zeeburg' in Amsterdam, on November 13, 2011. The large 300 year old Jewish cemetery, dating back to 1714, is being renovated by a Jewish foundation, and youngsters involved in restoring the cemetery are more than just cleaning up: drawn from the city's Jewish and Moroccan Muslim residents, they are building bridges between two divided communities.
