(FILES) - A picture taken on April 15, 1974 shows first Secretary of French Socialist Party Francois Mitterrand with his wife Danielle and his two sons Gilbert (2ndL) and Jean-Christophe in Latché, near Soustons for the Easter weekend. Danielle Mitterrand, the widow of former French president Francois Mitterrand, died early November 22, political sources said. She was 87. Mitterrand was hospitalised on Friday and later placed in an artificial coma. "She died at 2 o'clock this morning at the Georges-Pompidou hospital (in Paris)," a source said. AFP PHOTO
