TUNISIA-POLITICS-UNREST
Unemployed men from the central Tunisian mining region of Gafsa speak on November 25, 2011 to soldiers guarding the headquarters of the Gafsa Phosphates Company (CPG) in Tunis, whose recruitment policy led to violence particularly in the towns of Oum Larayes and Mhdilla. Barbed wire was placed around the headquarters of the GPC and its parent, the Tunisian Chemical Group, located on the same street, and special army and police units are guarding the buildings.
