BELGIUM-FRANCE-PROSTITUTION-TRIAL
The French owner of the Smoke Havanas restaurant, Dominique Alderweireld, also known as "Dodo la Saumure," poses on November 4, 2010 in front of his business in Tournai. Alderweireld, 62, the self-proclaimed "massage parlor leader," is jailed in Ypres, Belgium, on charges on charges of running "houses of debauchery,", human trafficking and cocaine possession since October 3, 2011. He also is suspected of being linked to an illegal luxury prostitution ring in the northern French city of Lille, allegedly involving former International Monetary Fund (IMF) head Dominique Strauss-Kahn. A Belgian court on November 29, 2011 ordered his release on a 75,000 euro bond pending the opening of his trial on December 1 in Belgium.
