FRANCE-JUSTICE-HISTORY-RENAULT-FILES

A file picture taken in 1937 shows founder of the French car company Renault, Louis Renault (C) presenting a car to German Chancellor and Nazi leader Adolf Hitler (2ndL) and Commander of the Luftwaffe Hermann Goering (L) during the Auto show in Berlin. Nearly 70 years after Renault died in a French prison, accused of collaborating with the Nazis, his seven grandchildren are seeking on December 14, 2011 to restore his reputation and gain compensation before French justice, for what they say was the illegal confiscation of his car company by the state.
