YATCHING-FRA-JULES VERNE
French skipper Loick Peyron (R), skipper of the Banque Populaire V, is congratulated by French skipper Florence Arthaud on January 7, 2012 in Brest, western France, after he and his 13 crew members set a new record for the Jules-Verne Trophy non-stop, round-the-world race. The day before, the vessel crossed the line in 45 days, 13 hours and 42 minutes, beating the previous best of Franck Cammas and Groupama 3 of 48 days, seven hours and 44 minutes, set in 2010.
