TUNISIA-IRAN-TELEVISION-FILM-TRIAL
Former Tunisian prime minister and lawyer Beji Caid Essebsi (L) arrives on January 23, 2012 for the resumption of the trial of the director of the Tunisian private TV channel Nessma television, Nabil Karoui, at the courthouse in Tunis. Karoui is charged with "insulting sacred values" for broadcasting the Iranian film "Persepolis" in October 2011. Karoui, said on arrival: "It's the trial of 10 million Tunisians who dreamed of having a democratic country." The court was in uproar when proceedings began, and the trial was postponed until April.
