CAMEROON-NIGERIA-VIOLENCE-RELIGION
TO GO WITH AFP STORY BY REINNIER KAZE
Money changers work on January 16, 2012 in the northern Cameroonian border town of Amchide, near Maroua, at the border with the northeastern Nigerian town of Banki. The economy of the Cameroonian town, which used to thrive on trade with Nigeria and get supplies from there, has been slowed down since December 31, 2011 after Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan declared a state of emergency in areas hard hit by violence blamed on Islamist sect Boko Haram and ordered the closure of part of the country's borders.
