BRITAIN-ARGENTINA-DIPLOMACY-FALKLANDS
In a handout picture recieved from the British Royal Navy via Defence News Imagery on February 2, 2012 Britain’s Royal Navy Type 45 destroyer HMS Dauntless enters Portsmouth in the southern English county of Hampshire on August 5, 2011. Britain said on January 31 it was sending a new state-of-the-art warship to the Falklands, but insisted the deployment was purely routine despite rising tensions over the islands' sovereignty. HMS Dauntless is due to head out on her maiden voyage in the coming months to replace the smaller Type 23 frigate HMS Montrose.
