(FILES)--A June 14, 1960 file photo shows Israeli Prime Minister David Ben Gourion standing with French President Charles de Gaulle (unseen), on the stairs of the Elysée Palace in Paris. For the first time, large extracts from the diary of David Ben Gurion, the founder of the State of Israel, are available in a language other than Hebrew, translated into French, they are presented in a book covering the years 1947 to 1948 and the creation of the state of Israel.
