SENEGAL-UNREST-VOTE
Riot policemen arrive in a truck during clashes with protesters taking part in a demonstration march called by opposition activists of the M23 movement opposed to Senegal President Abdoulaye Wade's campaign for a controversial third term in office, in Dakar, on February 15, 2012, ahead of the February 26 national elections. Scores of police pushed back groups of opposition protesters who attempted to converge in the suburb of Medina, later firing tear gas as they tried to begin the march to Independence Square in the heart of the city led by presidential candidate Ibrahima Fall.
