SYRIA-UNREST-POLITICS-MEDIA-BRITAIN-FILES
(FILES) -- An image grab from a video uploaded on YouTube on February 23, 2012 shows Paul Conroy, a 47-year-old British photographer working for the Sunday Times newspaper, who was injured in a rocket attack in the Syrian protest city of Homs. Conroy, has been smuggled to Lebanon, his father Les said on February 28, 2012. "We've just had word from Beirut," Les Conroy told British media. Conroy's dramatic escape across the border came as the rebel-held Baba Amr district of Homs, where he had been holed up with wounded French reporter Edith Bouvier, was shelled by regime forces for a 25th straight day on Tuesday, according to activists on the ground.
