SNOWMASS VILLAGE, CO - MARCH 28: Disabled military veteran Russel Wolfe skis cross-country on a mono-ski on March 28, 2012 in Snowmass Village, Colorado. Wolfe, a Dessert Storm veteran, is also an archer on the U.S. Paralympic team. More than 350 U.S. military veterans are taking part in the National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic held between March 25-30 in Snowmass, Colorado. The cliinic is co-sponsored by the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Disabled American Veterans. It teaches winter sports with the aim of motiviating veterans with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic amputations, visual impairments, and neurological problems to heal physically and mentally.
