BOSNIA-WAR-ANNIVERSARY
People gather along the main street in Sarajevo on April 6, 2012, to mark the 20th anniversary of the bloodiest conflict in Europe since World War II. More than 11,000 red chairs, symbolizing 11541 victims of the conflict, lined Sarajevo's main avenue today as Bosnians marked the anniversary of the bloody conflict with songs and remembrance. Thousands of people gathered as a choir accompanied by a small classical orchestra performed an arrangement of 14 songs, most of them composed during the city's bloody siege.
