PAKISTAN-WEATHER-AVALANCHE-MILITARY, XGTY

This handout photograph taken on April 9, 2012,and released by Pakistan's Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), shows Pakistan army soldiers using heavy machinery as they search for avalanche victims including 124 soldiers during an on going rescue operation on the Siachen Glacier mountains. Bad weather hampered efforts to boost the search for 135 people buried in an avalanche at a Pakistani army camp, as a US team of high altitude specialists arrived in the country to help. It has been over three days since a huge wall of snow crashed into the remote Siachen Glacier base high in the mountains of Kashmir, and experts say there is little hope of finding survivors, though no bodies have been recovered yet.
