Supporters of France's Socialist Party (PS) newly elected President celebrate on May 6, 2012 at the PS northern federation in Lille, northern France, after the announcement of the first official results of the French presidential final round. Socialist candidate Francois Hollande won the French presidential election today with between 52 and 53 percent of the vote, ousting right-wing incumbent Nicolas Sarkozy, according to estimates.
