Kim De Gelder's parents arrive for a session of the Indictment Division of Gent, at the Gent justice palace on June 7, 2012. The Council Chamber has to decide whether Kim De Gelder, accused of a knife attack on children and staff at a daycare center on January 23, 2009, will be judged during an assize trial or not. Three people, two children and one staff, were killed in the attack. De Gelder is also accused of the murder of Elza Van Raemdonck, an elderly woman, in Beveren.
