A scientist and divers from the Oceanological Observatory of the French southeastern city of Villefranche-sur-Mer collect water samples on July 6, 2012 during the presentation to the media of "Medazur," an early warning system on jellyfish, which was launched on the French Riviera this week to avoid summer stings. To help swimmers avoid being ensnared in shoals of the poisonous invertebrates, the oceanological laboratory of Villefranche-Sur-Mer is launching a 48-hour internet jellyfish forecast.
