FRANCE-PALEONTOLOGY-TAUTAVEL-DISCOVERY
French Paleontologist Marie-Antoinette De Lumley shows on July 20, 2012 a human mandible belonging to an european homo erectus or ou homo heidelbergensis that was discovered on July 13 at the Arago Cave in Tautavel. Dated back to around 450,000 years ago, this new human mandible presents anatomical features similar to those previously discovered on the site, with very thick, strong teeth.
