US Army Sgt. Angelica Lopez (R) of the 401 MP (Military Police) Company, 720 MP Battalion, based at the 4th Infantry Division headquarters in Tikrit, follows a man out of his house to be searched after fire shots were heard in this neighborhood in the town of Samarra, 125 kilometers (75 miles) north of Baghdad, 14 February 2004. The patrol discovered that a boy shot a small caliber rifle at birds.
