US existing-home sales rose in July and prices climbed the most in more than six years, an industry group said August 21, 2012 in a fresh sign of stabilization in the depressed housing market. Sales of previously owned homes increased 2.3 percent to an annual rate of 4.47 million in July, and were up 10.4 percent from a year ago, the National Association of Realtors said.
