Police arrest demonstrators protesting inside the La Caixa bank in El Puerto de Santa Maria on August 27, 2012. The protesters began a 10-kms ( 6,25 mile) march from the town of El Puerto de Santa Maria to Puerto Real to protestagainst the Spanish government's handling of the economic crisis. Andalucia, which had a major construction industry before the bubble burst, now has an unemployment rate of nearly 34 percent, higher than Spain's overall rate of nearly 25 percent.
