BELGIUM-CRIME-CHILD-DUTROUX-APPEAL
Jean-Denis Lejeune (C), whose daughter Julie was one of the victims of convicted pedophile serial killer Marc Dutroux and his former wife and accomplice Michelle Martin, passes by television crews followed by lawyers on August 28, 2012 in the palace of justice palace Brussels before Belgium's highest court opens an appeal hearing on the validity of a decision to grant parole in a convent to Martin. The latter, 52, was given a 30-year sentence in 2004 for helping Dutroux hold victims prisoner, and for complicity in the deaths of two girls, found starved to death in a locked cellar.
