BRITAIN-ART-OLY-2012-PARALYMPICS
TO GO WITH STORY BY ANNE-LAURE MONDESERT
A picture shows a piece by artist Jack McLean entitled 'No Reason why you can't have fun' on display at the exhibition 'Spare Parts', a collection of customised, designed and recycled prosthetics at the Rag Factory gallery in London on September 1, 2012. The exhibition drawing together works by artists from around the world, aims to not only recycle old arms and legs into new and exciting artworks but also to create an open and positive conversation, celebrating prosthetics and how much can be achieved by using them, according to the curator.
