AUSTRALIA-WEATHER-BEACH-SEAWEED
Waves wash up onto a blanket of seaweed covering the normally picturesque Cottesloe Beach near Perth in Western Australia, which has forced surf lifesavers to close the beach to swimming on October 4, 2012. The seaweed which washed up overnight after a recent storm and strong winds, is also covering the surface of the water making conditions too dangerous for swimming and has come during the local school holiday period.
