FBL-GER-BUNDESLIGA-DORTMUND-SCHALKE
Police keep Dortmund and Schalke fans apart after clashes broke out prior to the German first division Bundesliga football match Borussia Dortmund vs Schalke 04 in the western German city of Dortmund on October 20, 2012. Schalke 04 team manager Horst Heldt admitted rioting in Dortmund city centre had over-shadowed his team's 2-1 Ruhr derby win at defending Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund. Before kick-off, Dortmund fans demolished a restaurant near the sold-out Signal Iduna Park stadium on Saturday afternoon and used the furniture as weapons against police and Schalke fans. At least 150 fans were arrested over the course of the day and one police officer was injured. AFP PHOTO / Stephan Schuetze GERMANY OUT
