US-WEATHER-STORM-MARATHON
Following the cancellation of the ING New York City Marathon, Lance Sven (pictured) started a Facebook page to organize a group of runners to participate in the "Run Anyway NYC Marathon" taking place in Central Park on November 4, 2012 in New York, New York. The 2012 NYC Marathon which, was supposed to be held today, was cancelled by the city due to effects of Superstorm Sandy which hit the city on October 29. With the death toll currently over 90 and millions of homes and businesses without power, the US East Coast is attempting to recover from the effects of floods, fires and power outages brought on by Superstorm Sandy.
