KENYA-TRANSPORT-TRAIN
Lilian Molhua sits with other passengers onboard the new evening commuter train on November 13, 2012 as it winds its way from Nairobi's Central Business District to the new railway station of Syokimau, 18 kms away on its first day of commercial operation. Kenya's President Mwai Kibaki launched the Nairobi Commuter Rail Service and the Syokimau Railway Station, last week marking the next stage of railway development in the country since the earliest accounts of Nairobi's history dating back to 1899. Tickets cost KSh120 one way for the 18-kilometre 30 minute journey. AFP PHOTO/Georgina GOODWIN
