Church of England clergy walk into the venue of the three-day Church of England General Synod in central London on November 19, 2012, during which their will be a vote on whether to allow women to become bishops. The 470-member General Synod will vote on November 20 on the issue of women bishops which has split traditionalists and liberals, two decades after England's established state Church backed the introduction of women priests.
