TOPSHOTS A group of striking farm workers march past a police armoured vehicle, on December 4, 2012, through De Doorns, a fruit growing region about 120Km North of Cape Town, South Africa. Workers in this region are demanding that their 70 rand ($8) wages per day be increased to 150 rand ($17). Before a two-week break for negotiations, there was violence as farmworkers in this region went on a wildcat strike, with two people being killed and millions of rand's worth of infrastructure being burnt.
