Supporters hold party sourvenirs to cheer re-elected Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama during a rally to accept his mandate at Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra on December 10, 2012. Local observers on December 10 urged respect for Ghana's election results giving victory to Mahama after the opposition alleged fraud in a nation trying to uphold its image as a model African democracy. According to the electoral commission, Mahama won with 50.70 percent of the votes cast, compared to opposition candidate Nana Akufo-Addo's 47.74 percent.
